Four Fences is a public installation project that took place in the central square of ‘Kulturforum’ on Potsdamer Straße in Berlin. The work emerged as a derivative during the Construction Tower project when the installation was halted due to a lack of permission, attempting to proceed without authorization and testing surveillance.

“I brought four construction fences from a nearby construction site and placed them where Construction Tower was supposed to be erected. In less than an hour of placing the fences, two men approached and started observing us. […] The fences remained installed there for half a day before returning to their original positions.
